An emotion is a feeling about a situation or an interpretation of a physical experience. You have a physical reaction and you conclude that it is pleasant or annoying, for example.

Hormones or neurons are then activated that literally direct the energy of that emotion.

Recognize the emotion, be curious about it. The more you know about your emotions, the better you can respond to them.

The situation that causes the most emotion at all times is loss of control.

How you respond to this depends on the patterns / algorithms you have learned.

Energy can be directed outwards, such as with anger and joy.

Energy can be focused on your personality, such as with fear or excitement.

Energy can be directed inwards, such as with sadness and satisfaction.

An emotion is caused by a thought about an event.

Sometimes that thought is positive while with others it is negative about the same kind of situation. You could be touched by something that someone else shrugs or vice versa.

Here you first work with the most abstract emotions and then find your own specific ones.

The choices are based on outward-facing emotion for your position and territory, inward-facing for maintenance and recovery, and emotion for growth and recovery.

The pairs that are always offered are, as it were, the greatest possible opposites of a particular direction.

The emotion you are going to describe here is the emotion you feel during the situation you described under PROBLEM.

If it is difficult to identify which emotion is the strongest, take the test with the fist.

Express your problem with a clenched fist = A.

Finally, speak out your problem with a tight hand = B

Then state your problem with a weak hand = C.

You can get in touch with your emotion more easily if you point your chin towards the horizon and your eyes towards the ground.

Where does this come closest.

A = Angry - Happy, B = Scared - Excited, C = Sad - Satisfied.

This is not about what you feel exactly, but in which direction this emotion is going.

It makes a big difference whether you are angry, scared or sad.

Each emotion also has its own thoughts or images.

Painful emotions will quickly be suppressed.

Repressed emotions also have repressed thoughts / images.

The diagram is about the attunement of your emotion to the other parts.

So you choose a direction to be able to make a good analysis of your problem.

Only when you have that direction clear can you try to give it your own specific words.

.

CHOOSE the emotion that best fits this problem ...

A Angry - Happy

B Bang - Excited

C Sad - Satisfied
